NEWS AND COMMENTARY ON WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL TENNIS

Greetings from Birmingham
Women Who Serve is back in business. We arrived in Birmingham early this afternoon--two people and four cats. The Internet cable didn't work, but it has since been replaced, and everything is fine.
I should have been a lot faster, but now I have a mysterious Blogger bug. I didn't expect to see this post appear, and now I'm prepared to see it appear several times.
So there still may not be much blogging until someone can fix my bug. This I wasn't expecting.
Kathy, I only just saw this post. We're still in Birmingham. We had planned to go back this morning, but as of yesterday evening, we still didn't have power. We expect to have power (and cable) by today, so--to avoid bad traffic, and to avoid my missing the women's semifinals--we're probably going to go back in the middle of the night.
Other Blogger sites look okay to me, but I am having problems with Blogger. So far, I haven't gotten any help, though I hope to soon. There are some peculiar things going on that I've never seen go wrong before.

Glad to hear you got out. Something is weird going on with Blogger; other sites too look weird.
