Lindsay Davenport has defeated Aravane Rezai, 6-2, 6-2, to take the ASB Classic title. Davenport did face a break point throughout the match.
Mariya Koryttseva and Lilia Osterloh defeated Martina Müller and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, 6-3, 6-4, to win the doubles title.
