Best Qualifier/Lucky Loser "deja vu" moment ever: Canberra in 2005. Ivanovic (then ranked #100) defeats Czink in the final round of qualifying. Czink gets into the draw as a Lucky Loser, then meets Ivanovic again... IN THE FINAL. The Serb, just 17 at the time, wins again to claim her first-ever title.
I'd forgotten completely about that! That really was a noteworthy moment. It seems so long ago, doesn't it?
