It is a good win for Sharapova even though not a premier event. She got some matches in after her bone bruise and early knock out in one of the other clay events. I guess it will be interesting to see how she does. In case injuries persist, I have read that she wants to at least get the career slam or another Wimbledon. Whether one is a fan or not, it is difficult not to feel bad to have these injury problems so young for such a great competitor.

I don't think she's ever going to get a career slam, but I would really like her to get going and win Wimbledon. I really hope she can stay healthy.
