Wozniacki and Hsieh win Seoul and Guangzhou titles

Top seed Caroline Wozniacki won the Korea Open today, defeating 3rd seed Kaia Kanepi 6-1, 6-0 in the final. Wozniacki has now won 19 WTA singles titles.

Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears, the top seeds, won the doubles title, defeating Akgul Amanmuradova and Vania King 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 in the final.

Hsieh Su-Wei won the Guangzhou International Women's Open yesterday when she defeated Laura Robson 6-3, 5-7, 6-4. Hsieh, in fact, served for the match in the second set, and held match points. To get to the final, Robson took out 2nd seed Zheng Jie, 7th seed Peng Shuai and 3rd seed Sorana Cirstea.

Tamarine Tanasugarn and Zhang Shuai, the number 3 seeds, won the doubles title. They beat top seeds Jarmila Gajdosova and Monica Niculescu 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 (same scoreline as Seoul) in the final.

Diane, your recap of the Robson-Hsieh match is incorrect. It was Hsieh who had match points in the second set, not Robson, obviously, since Robson lost 1st set.
