Does this mean Jankovic won a lot of points at the net today in her win over Zvonareva? If so, that's a good sign.
Her coach has really inspired her and in such a short time helped her raise her game by focusing on aggression, serve, net. I wonder why they were not things she was able to work on on her own. Too much competing, I guess.
I tried livestreaming the final from the Kremlin Cup website but it kept sputtering out. It seemed like her opponent was smashing her racket a lot in frustration and one moment I did see was Jelena cringe in response. But it looked like the points were pretty well contested and high quality. More won than lost.
Now, on to her fourth victory in a row. And why stop there. "I am very tired, but I will try my best." Killer smile.
If anyone has any videos of this match or the previous one against Dementieva to post on Youtube, please do.
I didn't see the final. I would have had to have gotten up at 4:30 a.m. But in her recent matches, JJ has certainly gone to the net more. Against Dementieva, she rushed in repeatedly, with a lot of success.
I think you said you don't have Tennis Channel, Walter. If you know someone who does, you might get that person to record a re-broadcast for you.
