NEWS AND COMMENTARY ON WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL TENNIS
I'm shocked by her courage to come forward about this. Wowzers. I hope she remains OK.
I hope she names the name.
I think she will have to name names now.I wonder if she was asked to throw a match against Nakamura, or just because it would help Nakamura, because I remember them playing recently (I think) but I don't remember the score.I'm not sure on that one.

David, she was asked to throw a match with Nakamura (but without Nakamura's knowledge), she says. The reasoning was that if the Nakamura didn't have to play a long doubles match, she would be more rested for her upcoming singles match. And yes, under the new (it's about time) rules, she is required to make a report, and I assume that means name a name.
ohhhh so it was a doubles match? That's crazy, I hope whoever told her to do that gets caught. I'm glad she came out with it.
