Dokic wins 100k tournament in France
Jelena Dokic defeated Sofia Arvidsson 6-4, 6-4 today in Poitiers to win the 100k tournament there. Also entered were Dominika Cibulkova, Alla Kudryavtseva and Michaella Krajicek.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I was a fan of Dokic early on. I hated to see her drop off the map. I have been happy to see her trying to get back on track in a profession she enjoys.

This is her second in a row--she won in Athens in early October.
And she reached the final in Joue-Les-Tours the week before Poitiers, losing to Arvidsson.
Ah, so this must have felt especially good.
