Miscellany

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has replaced the injured Vera Zvonareva on Russia's Fed Cup team.

Liezel Huber finds it amusing and "clever" that her father pretended to be physically handicapped in order to skip the long voting line in his South African voting district.

TennisInfoBlog has added some new childhood photos of Dinara Safina.

On Tennis Channel's website, you can read an excerpt from Monica Seles' new book, Getting a Grip: On My Body, My Mind, My Self.

Tennis Live Radio is still not back on the air. "Several factors" are referred to as causing the delay.

Its very surprising (and sad) to see how some major public figures are competely unaware of the impact of what they say. Liezel Huber should really think about writting a blog for the fans (i bet some are very young ones), not to her BFF, which she is entitled to let know about their tricky methods in whatever she wants.

But well, its not like Huber is known for her wonderful personality and good intended ways (Petrova knows better).

At least reading about her father's disregard for the rights of others is a break from reading about how hilarious it is that Tim Henman likes to pull her husband's pants down.
