Serena Williams returns to the tour next week when she plays in Eastbourne. This will be the first time the former world number 1 has played since she won Wimbledon last year.

Caroline Wozniacki has advanced to the second round in Copenhagen. The top seed defeated Irina Falconi, who lost to Wozniacki in the second round in Charleston.
Ana Ivanovic is once again looking for a coach, and says that this time, she wants the coaching relationship to last. She has stipulated that the person must be a man, able to "commit," and able to travel.
CCTV in China has estimated that 110 million Chinese residents watched the women's French Open final.
