The
Proximus Diamond Games begin tomorrow in Antwerp, with a field led by world number 1 Justine Henin. Also featured are Daniela Hantuchova, Open Gaz de France winner Anna Chakvetadze, Patty Schnyder, Agnes Szavay, and the Bondarenko sisters. This is a Tier II tournament played on indoor carpet.

This event is not strong but could contain a couple of decent subplots. Henin must face Szavay very early on -- can she bounce back over this dangerous youngster or will we see more signs that this year belongs to the 21 and under set? (Note: Szavay is 19, while Sharapova and Chakvetadze are still 20!) And there may be a Justine vs Anna final brewing -- Chak's first finals loss? Stay tuned :>
I wondered about the possible Anna/Justine final, too.
Actually, I think Szavay may run into trouble in her first round.
