For those who live in the USA and have Tennis Channel: The Wimbledon final, in which Maria Sharapova defeated Serena Williams, will air on Monday, June 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. On the Tuesday, June 14, the featured match is the 2005 final, in which Venus Williams defeated Lindsay Davenport.
Alas, Diane, the featured matches are only half hour long. They're the synopses that Wimbledon puts out after the Championships. At first I was convinced that the Tennis Channel schedule was wrong, so imagine my acute disappointment when I realised it was no joke. Was so looking forward to watching the 2004 Sharapova-Williams match too. :(

I was disappointed, but at least I got to see the highlights. But they should promote it as what it is, rather than the bait-and-switch they used. Oh, well--it's Tennis Channel. What should I expect?
