Clijsters withdraws from Stuttgart

Kim Clijsters has withdrawn from the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, which begins Monday. Venus Williams has withdrawn, also.

    Any word as to why? Venus-injury? Clijsters?

    Venus's knee is keeping her out. I've heard various things about Clijsters and don't know which are factual, but she is off of the Stuttgart player list.
