ReplyDeleteSport is used to sell sex, not sport is so dead on. I just hope the new head of WTA realises that.

Well, Dani, she refers to herself as a "chairman," so I wouldn't expect a lot in terms of gender consciousness-raising. And while I appreciate the WTA's primary goal of maintaining financial support--a very important goal--I don't see the organization addressing gender issues. Scott addressed them by waffling--but his language always gave him away. But they DO love to talk about "equality"...
