What she said could only be interpreted in one way, she definitely said she was asked to throw the match. She got cold feet, and that's a shame.
I suspect someone dipped those feet in a bucket of ice.
i'm not surprised by this at all. i was shocked by her disclosure in the first place.
I wasn't surprised that Morigami both did the right thing and followed ITF rules; sadly, neither am I surprised that she felt a need to recant.
