great picture Diane..many thanks. I watched the whole match, and then today's against Serena Williams: I must say it was one of the best matches I've ever seen - a real cracker! I've been a Safina fan for a wee while and it's lovely to see her coming on.
And I don't know if you saw yesterday......a glimpse of Amelie in the crowd, watching the match, looking relaxed and happy.
We didn't get coverage until today, and it's very delayed. But I did get to see the Safina-Williams match this evening. Wow. The scoreline really doesn't reflect what took place, does it? This is a new and more mature Safina.
Of course, I'm crushed that JJ is out.
