Good to "see" from you if only through Ziggy or Tarzan.
I have to say the Fan Favorite thing is a joke to me. Only 65,500 voted. That is a said comment on the WTA which has a world-wide audience. Maybe they should do the voting earlier before the Tour championships. But I don't like the Fan Fave thing much anyway. I see they don't give a Humanitarian Award. I seem to hear more about Foundations etc from the ATP side of things. Clijsters barely played this year and still gets the Sportswomanship Award? Well you would have commented on all of this if you cared or wanted. You deserve time off so don't worry about answering.
I was going to wait until some more of the awards were given--not realizing that it had already happened!--but I'm with you--65,000 isn't many at all, and I don't really care about fan faves, either.
I don't know why there's no humanitarian-type award, but I'm okay with that because I really like to see people do what they do quietly and not have attention called to it. And we have some WTA players who do a lot.
I'm also okay with Kim getting the award, though I totally understand that someone wouldn't be. She didn't play much, no, but I think it's just part of the general Kim send-off.
And I'll be posting on the awards very soon. I didn't mean to take this much time off.
