Wozniacki elected to WTA Players' Council
World number 1 Caroline Wozniacki has been elected to succeed outgoing WTA Players' Council member Patty Schnyder. Other members of the council are Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Francesca Schiavone, Akgul Amanmuradova, and Bethanie Mattek-Sands.

It seems like an overwhelming amount representing the top ten and not enough of the others representing the other players.

There's a formula for the content of the council; I forget just what it is, though. If anyone knows it without looking it up, feel free to post it.
Lucie Safarova was also re-elected to the council
