NEWS AND COMMENTARY ON WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL TENNIS
I'm not holding my breath that she will turn up in Paris either at this point. I wonder if Maria will just decide to wait until the US Open Series starts so she can at least find her game close to home.
When she does come back, she will probably play a very light schedule for the rest of her career to protect that shoulder.
I'm being optimistic, Aaress, and hoping for Birmingham.
Birmingham would be nice. But that gives her hardly any preparation time for Wimbledon, although with the shoulder, she is not exactly being hailed as a title contender.
