I think you may be on to something. I haven't heard any news yet about Chelsey's plans, but I kind of expect her to go pro, too.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124489754017593105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-28334655849311568672009-09-08T22:42:03.587-05:002009-09-08T22:42:03.587-05:00Hmmm, I'm wondering if once Chelsey leaves the...Hmmm, I'm wondering if once Chelsey leaves the Georgia tennis program and turns pro if we'll have another all-sisters doubles team on tour. The Gullicksons did play a bit on the ITF circuit last year before Chelsey went to college, reaching the final of the first tournament they played (<i>they actually almost played each other in the singles final, as well</i>). Mallory Cecil just turned pro after winning the NCAA title as a freshman, but Chelsey was actually the top-ranked freshman for the majority of the college season. So she might not be an amateur for much longer<br /><br />It could be that it'll be happening sometime next year. Carly and Julie Ditty have done quite well as a doubles team in ITF events the last year or two, but I've noticed they've stopped playing together the last few months. Might Carly maybe not be willing to commit to a future partnership because her sister could soon be on tour, and now Ditty is trying out other players to team up with? It would seem a decent possibility.Todd Spikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01291100150348445819noreply@blogger.com
