I just meant: If the network doesn't want listeners to hear the players, then move the mics--because the players are inevitably going to say all sorts of things, and it's silly to expect them not to.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124489754017593105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-50742401359022021902009-06-05T09:26:04.461-05:002009-06-05T09:26:04.461-05:00Yo Diane,

I would *MUCH* rather listen to the players (whatever they have to say), the ref, the crowd, the general ambience, etc... than anything the commentators have to say! That's the great thing about watching via Eurosport online (from here in the UK) - you can hear every single word said on court (even the coaches, though not in this tournament, obviously), with ZERO commentary - bliss :)

On standard TV over here we're limited to just one match a time (plus ENDLESS Murray repeats), and you can never QUITE hear what's been said on court. Partly because the mics are so quite, and partly because the commentators feel the need to waffle on ALL the time (mis-pronouncing names, calling them girls, repeating the same old phrases again & again - "too good!" etc, etc)

COME ON DINARA - YOU CAN DO IT!!! :D 3rd time lucky!

Your old pal, Andy A ;)Andy Anoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-89618568269882639192009-06-05T09:12:21.008-05:002009-06-05T09:12:21.008-05:00To get up at 8 in the morning and see a delayed ma...To get up at 8 in the morning and see a delayed match that NBC could show live is beyond nonsense to me.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124489754017593105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-31438610204371751032009-06-05T00:06:02.916-05:002009-06-05T00:06:02.916-05:00I can only think about what a great match this cou...I can only think about what a great match this could be, im really looking forward to watch it... in the repetition of course, to get up at 8 in the morning is nonsense to me, you know? im a vampire like that...Roihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05531382523888228086noreply@blogger.com
