Nothing much seems to please her these days.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124489754017593105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-35082301503523921302010-10-15T06:24:25.451-05:002010-10-15T06:24:25.451-05:00Btw, I read in L'Equipe that Kuznetsova has sp...Btw, I read in L'Equipe that Kuznetsova has split with Loic Courteau because he was unwilling to move to Moscow for winter training.Paulinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-81874547001841727202010-10-13T18:00:52.414-05:002010-10-13T18:00:52.414-05:00I still don't like the fact that the Bali tour...I still don't like the fact that the Bali tournament even exists; I see no reason for it to take place. I heard that it is going to be knock-out this year, which would be especially silly (if true).

Radwanska discovered her injury and then immediately played in two tournaments, which I imagine made it worse.

Fans always complain about injuries this time of year, but this year feels worse than ever, with so many top players out. I'm especially concerned about Safina.

The Russian group has really lost its shine, hasn't it? Nice to see Vera do so well, though.

Sunny, at this point, I have no idea what is going to happen. I am disappointed for both Dementieva and Jankovic, and I don't even want to speculate about what happened to Kuznetsova this year. Then there's Maria--who knows what will happen next?Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124489754017593105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-229616072187725718.post-52235867710748609392010-10-13T13:47:23.379-05:002010-10-13T13:47:23.379-05:00Miscellany:

Some of the players that would have gone to Bali may end up in Doha. It seems like Clijsters might make it to Doha. It would be interesting to see Wozniacki and Clijsters clash and see if anything has changed since 09 USO.

It is too bad about Kuzi getting knocked down in points and being ill. Even with her one title, this was another inconsistent year and seems like she could use a long rest.

Same for A.Radwanska. An injury with a frustrating season of no titles.

I have read that Dementieva is a little bummed out also especially after losing Tokyo. I think it was difficult for her being injured-not a common occurrence for her-also breaking her GS streak.

Venus's push at the USO seemed to cost her. Hopefully she will be back for the AO.

There will be talk a plenty at the AO if Wozniacki is still no 1 (which seems to be the case if she does well in Doha).Sunny ninenoreply@blogger.com
