Henin retires from professional tennis

World number 13 Justine Henin has retired from professional tennis. Henin's elbow injury has caused her a lot of pain, and her doctors have advised her to stop playing. This is Henin's second, and presumably final, retirement from the sport. She is 28 years old.

Her career since first retiring reminds me a bit of Mario Lemieux's after he first retired from ice hockey and then came back - flashes of brilliance but just not the former level. Thank you, JuJu!

Good point. And I think that's actually the "norm" for coming back, in most cases.
