Kuznetsova splits with Morozova

Well, that relationship didn't last long. Svetlana Kuznetsova, who recently moved back to Moscow and hired Olga Morozova as her new coach, has already fired her. Says Kuznetsova: "...she's unbelievable person and great coach, but we kind of didn't get each other tennis-wise and outside-wise."

Kuznetsova says she can handle playing without a coach, but she would nevertheless like to have one.

I know Kuznetsova likes to do things as Federer might, but let's not go overboard now. ;)

well, for that matter, Federer should't be doing it, either...

My understanding is that she wants to hire someone, but I think she'll wait until she finds a good fit. I guess she'll do a more detailed audition the next time.

Do you think she'll leave Russia?

I mean to live and train, not as a matter of citizenship as such.

I doubt it, Matt, because she seems so happy to be back in Russia, after living in Spain for so long.
