Diane Elayne Dees is a writer who, for five years, published The Dees Diversion, a blog about liberalism, feminism, the liberation of non-humans, social mores, and the WTA. She also enjoys and appreciates Vera Zvonareva, Anabel Medina Garrigues, Anna Chakvetadze, Sam Stosur, Marion Bartoli, the Bondarenko sisters, and Sabine Lisicki, as well as some lower-ranked players whose games are varied and interesting.
