So, was 2007 just a fairytale for Agnes and Marion?

I'm sorry to say I think it was probably Marion's greatest moment. It pains me to say that because I really enjoy watching Marion, and I very much like her persona.

As for Agnes, I don't know. She's really inconsistent, but she's still young and may just need to build some mental toughness.

Diane, I just wanted to ask you whether you lost hope in Bartoli, but I can see the answer to my question in the comment above. You know I was also writing in Bartoli's favor when everyone attacked her that she reached the Wimbledon final just by chance, but unfortunately, I feel just as you now. As for Agnes, yes, she too has been losing too early this year; I still believe in her though.

Even if Marion never wins another tournament, no one can take Wimbledon from her. She has the talent--there are just too many other things wrong. Sad.

I agree, she absolutely deserved that Wimbledon final. Pity she didn't continue that trend.
